The cropped ear extenuates the beautiful head of the miniature schnauzer, while the natural ear can hide the beautiful head piece and expression. At Reberstein’s Miniature Schnauzers we always crop the miniature schnauzer’s ears at 10-12 weeks of age.
A few years ago I donated $50 to the 'breed specific' rescue group Col. Potters Cairn rescue after seeing a posting for help regarding a really abused cairn mix in very poor shape.
